Cape Verde and Portugal to resume services for essential travel on 01-Aug-2020

Cape Verde's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Communities Luís Filipe Tavares and Portugal's Ambassador to Cape Verde António Albuquerque Moniz announced air services between the countries will resume for essential travel only on 01-Aug-2020 (Expresso das Ilhas/Lusa, 27-Jul-2020). Passengers will be required to undergo COVID-19 tests when travelling in both directions. Cabo Verde Airlines, SATA International and TAP Air Portugal are expected to operate at least eight weekly services from Praia and São Vicente to Lisbon. Mr Tavares said Cape Verde hopes to reopen its borders to other countries in Aug-2020.
