CAPA Fleet Database, on reconciling the Airbus orders and deliveries for Apr-2019, found (06-Apr-2019) Avianca formally removed all orders for A319neos from the Airbus firm order backlog. CAPA was previously informed by Avianca CEO Hernán Rincón of the carrier's intent to not take the deliveries. Other changes made by Avianca during Apr-2019 include the cancellation of 17 A320neos and converting orders for 11 A320neos to 11 A321neos.
