CAPA: Biggest surprise of US infrastructure plan is proposal to privatise Washington airports

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: 'President Trump's new infrastructure plan: potential for aviation and private airport financing', stated (17-Feb-2018) the biggest surprise in US President Trump's infrastructure plan is that both Washington Ronald Reagan National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport made the cut onto the potential disposal list, on the grounds that the assets "would be better managed by state, local, or private entities". CAPA stated: "The two Washington airports would most likely not have been considered as privatisation prospects under any scenario, on security grounds alone.
