Canberra Airport appointed (09-Dec-2018) Michael Thomson as head of aviation, to join the airport’s leadership team in 2019. Mr Thompson was most recently head of the ACT Brumbies rugby organisation, credited with returning it to profitability in a difficult climate and sooner than expected. Mr Thompson also previously worked for FIFA Marketing AG, Sport Australia and Nike.
