CAAV proposes removing social distancing measures on aircraft and increasing domestic frequencies

Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) proposed Vietnam's Ministry of Transport remove social distancing measures on aircraft and increase the frequency of domestic services (Saigon Times/Voice of Vietnam, 04-May-2020). Under the proposal, Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route could have 52 round trips per day and Hanoi-Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City-Da Nang could have 20 daily round trips each. CAAV added passengers should still keep a distance of at least one metre during security screening and boarding.
