Buenos Aires LCC airport faces 'a risk of having to close' due to judicial rulings

Argentina's Minister of Transport Guillermo Dietrich commented on the judicial ruling imposing operational restrictions in Buenos Aires El Palomar Airport (El Diario, 17-Sep-2019). Mr Dietrich stated: "This is something unseen in Argentina. There are airports with a much higher neighbouring populational density, such as [Buenos Aires Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport], and they don't have any time restrictions". As previously reported by CAPA, a court ruling restricted the airport from operating between 22:00 and 07:00. Mr Dietrich added that there is "a risk of having to close" the airport.
