Brussels Airlines: 'There is no question of the airline going bankrupt' from coronavirus crisis

Brussels Airlines confirmed it applied for Belgian government support but stressed that "there is no question of the airline going bankrupt" due to the coronavirus crisis (De Tijd, 17-Mar-2020). The carrier reportedly requested EUR200 million in financial support. As previously reported by CAPA, Brussels Airlines will temporarily suspend all commercial operations from 21-Mar-2020 to 19-Apr-2020 in response to the virus.
