Broome International Airport CEO Paul McSweeney reported passenger traffic at the airport is expected to exceed 400,000 in FY2017/18, an increase of 9% year-on-year, thanks to the addition of Perth-Broome frequencies by Qantas and Virgin Australia (The West Australian/BTN News, 26-Nov-2017).
