Brisbane to host inaugural MRO Australasia 2020 event

Australia's Queensland State Government announced (08-Nov-2018) Brisbane will host the inaugural MRO Australasia 2020 event over 11/12-Mar-2020. Queensland Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning Cameron Dick said MRO industry has "huge growth potential" in the Asia Pacific region, with the MRO Australasia 2020 event enabling Queensland to expand export businesses from Australia and attract international suppliers to establish offices and facilities in the state. Queensland aircraft manufacturing and repair businesses generated around AUD1.2 billion (USD873 million) revenue, contributed AUD565 million (USD411 million) to state economic growth and provided over 4200 jobs across more than 300 enterprises from 2015 to 2016.
