Brazil's Government receive document with 22 action points to reduce airfares

Brazil's Ministry of Infrastructure, via its official LinkedIn account, announced (21-Jan-2020) that the Brazilian Government continues working towards reducing airfares in the country. Brazil's Secretariat of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Tourism and Embratur received a document from the aviation sector containing 22 action points which should impact airfares. Among the action points, a reduction in aviation fuel taxation, regulatory and taxation agenda adjustments and judicialisation of the industry.
