Brazilian fleet size to increase following two years of fleet size reduction

Brazil's civil aviation fleet is expected to increase in 2018, following two years of fleet size reduction (Valor, 02-Apr-2018). Brazil's major four carriers, Gol Linhas Aereas, LATAM Airlines Brazil, Azul Linhas Aereas and Avianca Brazil will incorporate 26 aircraft, for both fleet replacement and fleet expansion plans. Total fleet size for the four carriers is expected to reach 446 aircraft, a 13 aircraft year-on-year increase.
