Brazil lifts restriction on foreign ownership of local airlines, opens up investment to 100%

Brazil's outgoing President Michel Temer reportedly approved 100% foreign ownership of a Brazilian airline, through an executive order issued in the wake of Avianca Brasil's bankruptcy proceedings (Merco Press, 27-Dec-2018). Ownership was previously restricted to 20% for foreign investors.
