Brazil ANAC is reportedly studying "opening the market" in Amazonas State, in order to attract additional airlines into the state (Amazonas1, 18-Dec-2019). Amazonas state MP Joao Luiz reported: "We have exposed the situation the state is facing due to the suspension of MAP Linhas Aereas' operations and [ANAC] promised to work with the carrier to solve the problem".
