26 September, 2019

Boeing scheduled to present its Boeing 787 as an option for Boliviana de Aviacion's long haul fleet renovation plan in Oct-2019 (Los Tiempos, 25-Sep-2019). The carrier is also considering the A330-200. According to the CAPA Fleet Database, the carrier has four Boeing 767-300ERs averaging 24 years, which are deployed on Santa Cruz Viru Viru International Airport services to Buenos Aires Ezeiza, Madrid and Miami, according to OAG. Boeing's fleet renovation proposal would replace two 767s in 2019 and two in 2020. Boeing commercial director Latin America Randy Lander stated: "[The 787] saves you USD400,000 monthly just on the Madrid-Santa Cruz route, because it's very light".
