Boeing 'very much engaged' in the discussion about trade barriers

Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg said the company is "very much engaged in the discussion" about potential tariff barriers being raised between the US and China, and the "rhetoric" between the countries about "potential penalty actions are a concern to us" (Reuters, 15-Jul-2018). Mr Muilenburg noted that the discussion "right now is proposed tariffs, ongoing discussions", but Boeing is "concerned that it could affect supply chain costs".
