Boeing delivers first 737 MAX for Eastar Jet and Korea

Boeing delivered (19-Dec-2018) one 737 MAX 8 aircraft to Eastar Jet, marking the LCC and South Korea's first 737 MAX. Eastar Jet will take delivery of another 737 MAX 8 aircraft in late Dec-2018. President Choi Jong-gu said the introduction of the new aircraft will "enable us to expand our network into new and existing markets" such as Singapore and Kuala Lumpur among other future destinations.
