Blue Panorama Airlines to rebrand as ‘Luke Air’, integrate A330-200s

Blue Panorama Airlines plans to rebrand as ‘Luke Air’ following the purchase of the carrier by Gruppo Uvet, owned by Luca Patane (TTGItalia/austrianaviation.net/air-journal.fr, 17/25/28-Oct-2019). The carrier is reportedly in the process of receiving two former Qatar Airways A330-200s, replacing two of Blue Panorama’s three Boeing 767-300ERs. Mr Patane said moving away from seasonal operations and towards an “active and performing airline all year round” is required to continue to be profitable. The carrier is expected to present details of its rebranding, livery and future business plan before 20-Nov-2019.
