Blue Air CEO Gheorghe Răcaru said there is insufficient focus on the development of domestic tourism in Romania (zf.ro, 02-Jul-2018). Mr Răcaru said there is no coherent programme for promotion of domestic and inbound tourism. Mr Răcaru added that while Bucharest Otopeni International Airport's passengers are expected to increase 50% to 15 million in five years, there is insufficient investment in the airport to support the growth.
