Bitcoin Watch – Wall Street veteran Steve Eisman of ‘The Big Short’ fame fails to see the point of cryptocurrencies

Wall Street veteran Steve Eisman and basis of the bestseller and movie 'The Big Short' recently discussed his views on cryptocurrencies, advising he is struggling to find "purpose" or "value" in the market. Mr Eisman, who today is managing a portfolio at Neuberger Berman, said: "I don't see the purpose of it. What value does cryptocurrency actually add? No one's been able to answer that question for me." Mr Eisman is adding to a growing list of billionaire investors like Warren Buffett, who has similarly spoken out against the cryptocurrency market.
