Bitcoin Watch – South Korea’s Bithumb to launch a new service allowing crypto payments at 6000+ physical stores

27 March, 2018

One of South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Bithumb, has announced it will launch a new service designed to allow customers to pay with cryptocurrencies at over 6,000 physical stores across the nation. The exchange also recently expanded its offline support and in-person consultation service in addition to growing the online crypto payment ecosystem. This is possible due to a partnership with Korea Pay's Service, which runs digital payment services and a mobile gift card platform, Korea Joongang Daily noted. The idea is to make cryptocurrencies more accessible and useable in every day lives.
