Bitcoin Watch – SITA: 72% of airlines have investment plans in blockchain

SITA VP business transformation, air travel solutions Ian Ryder, via the company's official blog, reported (29-Nov-2019) the 2019 SITA Air Transport IT Insights survey shows 72% of airlines have investment plans in blockchain, with 15% planning to invest in a major programme and 57% in R&D by 2022. Blockchain, the technology which underpins all cryptos and bitcoin is still seen as one of the most important technological advances driving future innovation.
