According to Bloomberg, US financial institution Morgan Stanley is set to launch trading in complex derivatives tied to Bitcoin. The US bank will deal in contracts that give investors synthetic exposure to the performance of Bitcoin. While not confirmed by Morgan Stanley, Bloomberg is citing a source familiar with the matter. The news follows previous institutions such as Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Citigroup Inc. also preparing new products tied to Bitcoin.
