Despite a slump towards the end of 2017, it seems Bitcoin has once again started recuperating thanks to reports that PayPal's co-founder Peter Thiel's 'Founder Fund' invested over USD15 million in the crypto-currency last year. Bitcoin isn't the only crypto-currency to surge lately, the price of Bitcoin rival, Ripple has increased by 1240% in the last 30 days alone, from around USD25 cents to USD3.38, surging past bitcoin cash and ethereum to become the second largest cryptocurrency. In the last 12 months, Ripple has increased in value by an astonishing 51,542%.
