Bitcoin Watch – Bitcoin’s crashes by almost 6%, while USD20 billion wiped off the crypto market

Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies have all had a tough 24 hours with almost USD20 billion wiped from the crypto market. Bitcoin fell by almost 6% and now sits well under the USD7,000 mark despite impressive gains over the last few weeks. Ethereum was one of the hardest hit, falling by almost 14% and approaching a one-year low. CNBC is reporting that the fall is in response to a new report that Goldman Sachs is abandoning plans to open a trading desk for cryptocurrencies.
