Bitcoin Watch – Bitcoin surges above USD11,000 but Ethereum Founder warns against investing

Bitcoin surged passed the USD11,000 mark for the first time since Jan-2018 when it crashed to below USD6,000. It seems, all the fears of over tighter regulation which resulted in the crash, appear to have subsided. It is not all positive though, Ethereum Founder Vitalik Buterin has warned that cryptocurrencies could fall to "near-zero" at any time. 'Cryptocurrencies are still a new and hyper-volatile asset class, and could drop to near-zero at any time,' he wrote on Twitter.
