Bitcoin Watch – Bitcoin rebounds and cracks the USD10,000 mark

Despite heavy losses over the last week, resulting in an almost 20% loss of value, Bitcoin has rebounded overnight to once again crack the USD10,000 mark, an almost 10% increase from the previous day. It is unclear what caused the spike, however at this stage it seems it doesn't take much to impact the highly volatile cryptocurrency. All other cryptocurrencies also traded slightly higher off the back of the Bitcoin rise.
