Bitcoin Watch – Bitcoin holds steady…well steady for Bitcoin anyway

Bitcoin seems to have stabilised over the last 24 hours despite the ever increasing number of reports detailing hacks and scandals within the cryptocurrency ecosystem. At the time of publishing, Bitcoin is trading at USD8,558, down only about 3-4% from the day before. This is actually quite stable for the volatile cryptocurrency which has seen prices change dramatically over the last few weeks.
