Bitcoin Watch – Bitcoin dives but relief from John Oliver softens the blow

Bitcoin downward spiral continues to hit investors hard with the cryptocurrency dropping to around USD9,200 overnight. It is not all bad news though, as comedian John Oliver dedicated an entire episode of his hit show Last Week Tonight to "explaining" cryptocurrency. Oliver described it as: "Everything you don't understand about money with everything you don't understand about computers," and compared cryptocurrencies to high priced Beanie Babies.
