BER to be a 'job engine' for Berlin and Brandenburg in the coming years

Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) stated (22-Jan-2020) "thousands of new jobs" will be created in the region around Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) in the coming years. The operator estimated Brandenburg Airport could generate around 40,000 direct employment opportunities in the next 15 years. FBB CEO Dr Engelbert Lütke Daldrup commented: "BER will drive economic development in Berlin and Brandenburg and become a job engine for the capital region.
