FLC Group announced (10-Jul-2018) Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung officially approved the establishment of Bamboo Airways on 09-Jul-2018. FLC and Bamboo Airways plan to acquire 24 A321neo and 20 Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The airline will offer a "hybrid" product, combining full service and low cost elements, and aims to commence operations by the end of 2018.
