Bamboo Airways CEO Dang Tat Thanh reportedly said the airline received its first aircraft, an A319, from an Irish lessor and preponed its maiden flight from 29-Dec-2018 to 27-Dec-2018 (VnExpress, 17-Dec-2018). The airline also expects to receive an A320 from the same lessor in Dec-2018 or early Jan-2019. The launch of commercial operations is subject to the airline receiving an air operator’s certificate.
