Bamboo Airways to receive first Boeing 787-9 on 22-Dec-2019

Bamboo Airways, via its official Facebook account, announced (03-Dec-2019) it will receive its first Boeing 787-9 at Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport on 22-Dec-2019. The carrier expects to deploy the 787-9 on domestic routes between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, as well as on international routes. VP Dang Tat Thang reported the aircraft will enable Bamboo to launch direct services to the US "in late 2020 or early 2021" (Reuters, 03-Dec-2019).
