Bahamas closes borders again due to increase in COVID-19 cases

Bahamas' Prime Minister Hubert Minnis announced (19-Jul-2020) the closure of Bahamas' borders effective 22-Jul-2020. Mr Minnis made exception for commercial services from Canada, UK and EU. Bahamasair ceased outgoing operations to the US, effective immediately. Outgoing commercial operations will be permitted past 22-Jul-2020. Private international flights and charters for Bahamians, residents and visitors will be permitted. All returning Bahamians, residents and visitors by air or sea from overseas will require a negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test result from an accredited lab.
