Avianca Brazil outlines expansion plan for 2018

    Avianca Brazil announced (20-Mar-2018) plans to expand domestic and international operations, as follows:

    • International:
      • Sao Paulo GuarulhosMiami: Increase frequency from daily to twice daily, effective Dec-2018 with two class A330-200 aircraft;
      • Sao Paulo Guarulhos-Santiago: Increase frequency from twice daily to three times daily with a mix of two class A330-200 and single class A320 aircraft.
    • Domestic:
      • Sao Paulo Guarulhos-Vitoria: Launch effective Apr-2018;
      • Sao Paulo Guarulhos-Belem: Launch effective Jun-2018;
      • Brasilia-Belem: Launch effective Jun-2018;
      • Sao Paulo Guarulhos-Maceio: Increase frequency from daily to twice daily;
      • Sao Paulo Guarulhos-Recife: Increase frequency from four to five times daily;
      • Sao Paulo Guarulhos-Fortaleza: Increase frequency from four to five times daily;
      • Sao Paulo Guarulhos-Salvador: Increase frequency from seven to eight times daily.
      • Sao Paulo Guarulhos-Rio de Janeiro Galeão: Increase frequency from four to six times daily.
