Austrian Airlines rolls out premium economy on all long haul aircraft

Austrian Airlines completed (13-Mar-2018) the roll out of premium economy on all 11 long haul aircraft. The 12th long haul aircraft to be added by the airline in spring 2018 will also be equipped with premium economy. As previously reported by CAPA, a Boeing 777-200 with 306 seats will be added to the fleet in May-2018. Manufacturer ZIM installed the premium seating. Aspects of the new class include:

  • Personal power outlet and USB port;
  • Personal armrest;
  • Expanded baggage allowance, with two pieces of luggage up to 23kg;
  • Amenity kit;
