Austrian Airlines announced (02-Jul-2020) plans to increase the AIRail offering linking Vienna International Airport and Salzburg Central Station by rail tenfold. Up to 31 AIRail trains daily will be operated starting on 20-Jul-2020, in cooperation with the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB). The service enables Vienna Airport to be reached by train from Salzburg in under three hours and without changing trains.
