Australia's BITRE releases domestic airfare index for Feb-2018

Australia's Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE) released (08-Feb-2018) its Feb-2018 Domestic Air Fare Indexes:

  • Business fares: 93.5, -0.7ppt (compared to a Jul-2003 baseline of 100);
  • Restricted economy fares: 98.6, +19.0ppts;
  • Best discount: 63.9, +4.4ppts.

Indexes are constructed from BITRE's monthly survey of airline Internet booking sites. [more - original PR]
