8 February, 2018

Climate Council released (07-Feb-2018) a report - Icons at Risk: Climate Change Threatening Australian Tourism - cautioning that Australia's top five natural tourist attractions - beaches, wildlife, the Great Barrier Reef, wilderness and national parks - could be hit by intensifying climate change, including increased average temperatures, rising sea-levels, coastal flooding, catastrophic coral bleaching and higher incidence of extreme heatwaves.
