Australia domestic visitation down 39% in Mar-2020

Tourism Research Australia stated (08-Jul-2020) the combination of Australian bushfires and coronavirus had a significant impact on visitors in the Mar-2020 quarter, with overnight visitation declining 18% and spend declining 10%. The Australian bushfires showed their impact on domestic overnight travel results in Jan-2020 and Feb-2020, with declines in trips of 6% and 7% year-on-year.
