Auckland International Airport outlined (25-Jul-2019) the following major infrastructure projects to commence over the next 10 years:
- New domestic jet terminal;
- New international arrivals area;
- Refurbishment of the existing domestic terminal;
- Second runway;
- A new cargo facility;
- Reconfiguration of the international forecourt drop off and pick up areas.
The airport also commenced its airfield expansion project to increase the airfield by 18% and provide new taxiways and remote stands for aircraft parking and servicing. [more - original PR]
