Auckland Airport outlined (18-May-2018) the following F&B developments:
- 27 new F&B outlets to be opened across the domestic and international terminals in the next 12 months.
- New openings from Jun-2018 and include Better Burger, Mexico, Orleans Chicken and Waffles, and Al Brown's Best Ugly Bagels in the international terminal;
- Wider range of New Zealand themed bars and restaurants,
- New outlets to be managed by Emirates Leisure Retail, Barworks Hospitality Group, Delaware North Companies, Britomart Hospitality Group, HMSHost and Kiwi Discovery.
Auckland Airport GM retail and commercial Richard Barker commented: "Our new line up of food and beverage outlets will provide travellers with an outstanding selection of high quality New Zealand and international dining options. There will be 370 new management, operations and retail roles which will be responsible for ensuring there is an excellent level of customer service for the millions of passengers that travel through Auckland Airport each year".
