Auckland Airport cargo capacity rebounds in May-2020 compared to Apr-2020

Auckland International Airport reported (08-Jul-2020) international cargo capacity decreased 35% year-on-year in May-2020 as airlines continued to suspend passenger services, but capacity increased 33% compared to Apr-2020 due to the operation of additional cargo only services. 12 airlines operated 117 freighter services and 307 cargo services using passenger aircraft at the airport in May-2020. The top commodities for export growth were respiratory equipment (+329%), lamb (+137%) and lobster (+51%).
