ATPCO acquires Routehappy as a wholly owned subsidiary and strategic business unit

    ATPCO acquired (01-Feb-2018) Routehappy, a rich content provider for flight shopping. ATPCO stated the acquisition broadens its value to the airline distribution ecosystem by enabling rich content, making it a centralised platform for both airfare data and rich content. Routehappy was founded in 2011 and has more than 65 customers across the travel industry including Expedia, Google, Sabre and United Airlines. ATPCO said that by joining with it, Routehappy’s four rich content types – Scores, Amenities, UPAs (Universal Product Attributes) and UTAs (Universal Ticket Attributes) – will “become an industry standard to rapidly accelerate the adoption of rich content”. Routehappy will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary and strategic business unit of ATPCO.
