Here are the key executive changes for Mar-2018:

    • Perth Airport appointed Nev Power as chairman of its board of directors, effective 01-May-2018, replacing Colin Beckett who will stand down as chairman on 30-Apr-2018.
    • WSA Co appointed Graham Millett to the position of CEO of the recently established company charged with delivering Western Sydney Airport on 24-Feb-2018.
    • China Aircraft Leasing Company appointed Hatty Cheung as chief risk officer, effective 05-Mar-2018.
    • India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi directed that Shri Suresh Prabhu, Cabinet Minister, shall be assigned charge of the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation, in addition to his existing portfolio. Mr Prahbu is currently Minister of Commerce and Industry.
    • Kerala State Government appointed V Thulasidas as MD of Kannur International Airport Ltd(KIAL) for a three year term, replacing P Bala Kiran.
    • Virgin Australia appointed Executive GM of VARA & Virgin Australia Cargo Merren McArthur as CEO of Tigerair Australia, effective 07-May-2018, replacing interim CEO Peter Wilson who will resume his former post as Chief Pilot & Director of Flight Operations.
    • Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) head of flight operations Mark Davey replaced Merren McArthur as Executive GM of VARA, and Group Executive of Virgin Australia Airlines Rob Sharp, will assume responsibility for Virgin Australia Cargo following Mrs McArthur’s appointment as CEO of Tigerair Australia.
    • Spring Airlines Japanannounced the appointment of Toshiyuki Kashihara as president and CEO, succeeding Hiroshi, effective 30-Mar-2018.
    • UPSappointed Harrison Park as UPS Korea MD on 15-Mar-2018.
    • Korea Airports Corporationappointed Kim Myung-wun as VP on 20-Mar-2018.
    • Airports of Thailand announced the following appointments, effective 02-Apr-2018:
      1. Poolsiri Virojanapatobea appointed senior executive VP (accounting and finance);
      2. Pattanapong Suwannachattobe appointed chief financial officer.
    • Tasmanian State Government announced recently reelected Premier Will Hodgman will serve as Minister for Tourism, Hospitality and Events, along with roles as Minister for Parks, Minister for Heritage and Minister for Trade.
    • Sabre Corporation appointed Roshan Mendis as CCO of its Travel Network business on 27-Mar-2018.
    • Air Niugini CEO Simon Foo announced his retirement after more than 40 years with the national carrier. Mr Foo will be succeeded by Tahawar Durrani as the acting CEO
    • SriLankan Airlines appointed Ranjith Fernando as new chairman, replacing Ajith Dias, effective 03-Apr-2018.
    • Mastercard board of directors appointed Singapore Airlines CEO Choon Phong Goh as an independent director.
