Asiana Airlines to reduce proportion of aged aircraft to 13% by 2023

    Asiana Airlines announced (07-May-2019) plans to reduce the number of aged aircraft, more than 20 years old, from 19 to 10, comprising two passenger aircraft and eight freighters, by 2023. With the change in aircraft, the proportion of aged aircraft will account for 13% of total fleet, down from 23%. Asiana is scheduled to take delivery of 19 A350s and 15 A321neos by 2023.
