Asiana Airlines announced (12-Sep-2018) Gate Gourmet Korea commenced providing inflight meals to the carrier from 12-Sep-2018, ending its temporary contract with Sharp DO & CO. Gate Gourmet Korea, a joint venture between Asiana and HNA Group, has capacity to produce up to 60,000 meals per day, which is more than the 25,000 to 30,000 meals required by Asiana.
