Asiana Airlines creditors to provide USD1.1bn credit

South Korea's Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki said Asiana Airlines' creditors, led by Korea Development Bank, will purchase KRW500 billion (USD437.8 million) of perpetual bonds to be sold by Asiana and open a KRW800 billion (USD700.5 million) credit line (Yonhap, 23-Apr-2019). As previously reported by CAPA, Asiana parent Kumho Asiana submitted a fresh self rescue plan to creditors, which includes the proposed sale of Asiana, in return for financial support.
