Argentina’s COVID-19 flight restrictions ‘could wipe out the country’s LCCs’

    CAPA – Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: ‘COVID 19: Argentina‘s flight ban extension puts LCCs in peril’, stated (04-May-2020) Argentina‘s the recent extension of flight restrictions until 01-Sep-2020 could wipe out the country’s LCCs, which largely operated in the country’s domestic market. In addition, the Government of Argentina has not offered any financial assistance to JetSMART Argentina and Flybondi, and has not been transparent regarding the assurance it plans to offer Aerolineas Aerolineas.
