Argentina seeks to attract more tourists from Spain

Argentina's Government is working on developing the tourism industry as an essential industry to capture foreign revenues (HostetelTur, 24-Feb-2020). One of the key objectives is to increase the number of Spanish tourists beyond 200,000 p/a. VFR makes up 65% of total Spanish tourists in Argentina while tourists attending conferences ranges between 15% and 20%.
