Argentina imposes hurdles to LCC operator JetSMART to operate from Aeroparque

Argentina's Government reportedly has still not authorised JetSMART Argentina to incorporate additional A320s to recompose its fleet as Norwegian Air Argentina's Boeing 737s are scheduled to return to Norwegian Air's fleet in Europe (Clarin, 29-Feb-2020). Argentina ANAC claims JetSMART Argentina has not presented the documentation necessary to operate Norwegian Air Argentina's routes. JetSMART Argentina requested all necessary authorisations to operate from Buenos Aires Aeroparque Airport, and has already had approvals from the airport concessionaire. Meanwhile, JetSMART, which acquired Norwegian Air Argentina in Dec-2019, legally wet leased Norwegian Air Argentina's services from Aeroparque.
